Damn, I wish Soilwork would write songs like this more
often.
The guitars in the post-solo bit are supposed to do
different chugs, but it was hell to recreate so they're
doing the same one here.
I tried my very best to replicate Dirk's drumming, but my
god, the man is a beast. On top of that, he has more
cymbals than MIDI supports - he has crashes,
splashes and chinas all over the place. I only get 2
crashes, one splash and one china, so bear with me.
On top of this, instead of intricately replicating all of
what he did, I did some copy and pastes to save me
fecking hours of effort. For example, Verse 2 should be
a bit different on drums, but I genuinely just can't be
bothered.
Also, synths just follow the guitars and
sustain a chord or two during the chorus; they don't
contribute much except to make a wall of sound, so I
didn't bother. They're not integral to the song.
Apologies for dodgy solo, leads ain't my thang, yo.
